Server 2003 You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure. 1. Double-click the downloaded file and choose a location to extract the files to. 2. Attach the printer the Parallel or USB port of your computer. 3. Switch on the Printer. The `New Hardware Found' dialog will appear on screen, click `Next >'. If you do not see the `New Hardware Found' dialog, please check power and Parallel or USB cables are connected properly, and the printer is switched on. See your printer's User Guide for further information. 4. When prompted to search for a driver, de-select `Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...)' and select `Include this location in the search', click `Browse' and browse to the location that you extracted the files to from step 1. 5. Continue by following the on-screen instructions. It is recommended that you print a test page to confirm that the driver has been installed properly.  Note: A message may be displayed during installation notifying you the driver may not be "Microsoft Certified". If you wish to continue and install an un-signed driver click `Continue Anyway' when prompted.Windows 2000 1. Please ensure your printer is switched OFF. 2. Double click on the downloaded file and choose a location to unzip the files to. 3. Navigate to START > SETTINGS > PRINTERS and choose ADD PRINTER. When prompted, choose HAVE DISK and browse to the directory where the downloaded file was expanded to. Note: A message may be displayed during installation notifying you the driver may not be "Microsoft Certified". If you wish to continue and install an un-signed driver click `Continue anyway' when prompted. This will open the “Control Panel” Folder.4. Under “Hardware and Sound” click on the Printer link. This will open the Printers folder.5. Click on “Add a Printer” Button. This will start the “Add printer” Wizard.6. Click on “Add a Local Printer”7. Choose an existing port (e.g. LPT1), then click “Next”8. Choose “Have Disk”.9. Browse to the location of the unzipped files, then click “Ok”.10. Choose the desired model, then click “Next”.11. Enter a printer name or leave as default, then click “Next”.12. The wizard will now start to copy files and install the driver.13. Click “Finish”. USB Install. 1. Double click on the downloaded file and choose a location to unzip the files to.2. Windows will detect a new device, when prompted choose “Locate and Install driver software”5. If no drivers are found you are prompted to insert a CD or show other options. Choose “I don’t have the disk. Show me other options”.6. Then choose “Browse my computer for driver software”.7. Browse to the location of the unzipped files, then click “Ok”.8.
